There is a big difference between these 2 lives. Obviously back 20 years ago, the computers were not as high tech as what we have now. They didn’t have windows back then to use where now we have Windows XP and Vista etc. They didn’t even have the internet to use and browse. So they only used computers to type up documents.

Where as……
Computers nowadays are so much better! We have flat widescreen monitors, graphic cards, speakers, hard-drives, motherboards, and DVD burners etc.

Technology is so important these days with most people on our planet using computers everyday.

Computers are used everyday in life. You see them everywhere at work, schools, home and shops. They are not only used for typing up documents like 20 years ago, they are used for internet browsing, researching, gaming and networking etc.

Back 20 years ago, the computing industry would have been progressing pretty slow but now it’s progressing so fast that scientist say that a super computer will be invented.

Computer crime can be hacking, stealing money from credit cards/debit cards over the internet, software piracy and any other misuse of a computer system. Software piracy is a big issue because many people around the world have illegal copies of software that hasn’t been sold in the area yet. Internet banking nowadays is a risk because there is always a chance that your account has been hacked.

Equality is…the principle by which all persons or things under consideration are treated in the same way.

An example of privacy in computers is…showing your personal details and not having others looking at them over the internet.
